Through Akelius Languages, Akelius Foundation donates a digital platform with service, books, and teaching material.
There are twelve languages, a course in mathematics, and a start-up for vocational education.
Akelius Languages and Akelius Math AB have more than one hundred developers, in Berlin, Nicosia and Gothenburg.
The yearly costs amount to over EUR six million.
This year, 120,000 students are using Akelius Languages courses.
UNICEF
UNICEF has established schools together with local governments in

- Poland
- São Tomé and Príncipe
UNICEF has trained 12,000 teachers,
using the Akelius platform.
In Italy, there are sixty schools.
Due to the considerable number of Ukrainian refugees in Poland, in 2023 Akelius developed a language course in Polish at UNICEF’s urgent request.
UNHCR
UNHCR started the digital platform teaching English, Portuguese, Arabic, French, German, Italian and Spanish in Mozambique, Egypt, and South Sudan.
